Ed take a file to the splines of the spacers, easy. Just take it slowly, only take a little off at a time and try the fit often. Thats what I was going to do to a shimano kit but in the end went with the rearranged cassette (it looked fucking horrendous and got plenty of funny looks, but worked) cos I was too lazy to bother. gone fixed now so don't need to worry about it anymore.
i can't see how there would be a problem with this, if there is some is bound to point it out any second now.....
