To all you sewing lot...

hope nobody minds , i thought this would be a good place to put this info i got today.

a couple of friends will be holding a sewing workshop in deptford london se8. this will teach you all the basics you need to get up and running using an electric sewing machine and then following weeks will show the basics of altering and making garments. where its being held has ample parking space for bicycles and they will have sewing machines there. its going to be held on a tuesday evening between 6pm and 8pm. just thought i would let you know in advance.

Just out of interest (Tuesday's are bad for me) would this be suitable for a complete novice, i.e. one who knows bugger all about swewing other than the stuff I did for a term or two at school when I made a kapok stuffed rabbit)?
