Though I understaand the indignation and definitely the lug lining is poor but for recourse and possibly to the small claims court you need to be totally sure as to what instructions you gave the frame builder....did you instruct them to remove the tang?....Did you ask for lug lining?..etc etc...Have you got your instructions written down?....If it is yes to all these questions then you have them banged to rights...if not it becomes more difficult. However, if they are a big concern....or even if not and they dispute your instructions...you can always 'name and shame'.....on here....cycle chat or even the comic or cycling plus.....
