been experimerimenting, stanley knife digs in too much, and suddenly lets go when you try to chop bits off (near had my thumb).
Drilled a bunch of 1mm holes all around the outline of what I wanted to cut out. then had at it with pliers, then jewellers files and sandpaper.
This hdpe(?) stuff is really fibrous, hard to keep clean edges. When i say "and sandpaper" what i really mean is arseloads of sandpaper. Oh, and use
wood drillbits rather than metal, else they'll skip on the surface and create dints and pits - you can't really see it in the photo but above the birds wing to the left of the wingtip there's the result of finding this out.
