Do GPs generally have the wherewithal to check lung capacity at their surgeries? I remember, as a boy, some kind of medical roadshow did attend my place of education with such a device, however effective authoritative control or power over access to the device was maintained exclusively by the bigger boys and their cohorts and I apparently did not meet the access criteria.
