So, I forgot my SIA license today. When I turned up to work, I was swiftly informed by my superviser that as a security officer, if I get caught working without my license I face a rather crippling five figure fine, and if I'm not back on duty with my license by 9am he will file for disaplinary action (he's a cunt).
So I sprinted the 7 miles back home, in rush hour, picked up my license, sprinted all the way back again, no problems at all. When pulling into the car park of my building, you have to go through two large (very heavy) metal gates. They are normally left ajar so I can just nip through the gap without opening them.
Feeling rather satisfied at my succesfully speedy navigation of London (I don't normally cycle in rush hour), I then proceeded to forget about the CrAzY toe overlap of my new frame, and cycled straight into one of the big gates, which didn't budge an inch (they FUCKING heavy).
I am now missing a chunk of my finger.
I also ripped a hole in my new bar tape which I painstakingly applied last night.And my superviser (also a cyclist) just happened to be watching that exact camera at that exact moment on CCTV.
He then insisted that we watch it back in super-slow motion and explain to him just how I managed to do that. Fuck me sideways. -

I saw this a while back, I think Shandling was trying to be funny putting a bit of an act on, but just came across as a cunt.
He purposefully walk's the line of having a cunt persona and actually being a cunt to Gervais because he is genuinely bothered by him. I've always thought Ricky was close to having a fall along these lines, I don't think this is it. He isn't what people lord him up to be, particulaly americans, and I think he know's it. He is funny I like what he's done, but I've always thought that someone could take him down so easily.

The gervais xfm shows are some of the funniest things I have ever ever experienced.
Well worth the download (I'm sure they are on torrent sites)Much better than the podcasts which seemed a little forced in comparison (they go over too many subjects that they had already talked about on xfm but act as if it's the first time they are having the conversation, especially where karl is concerned)
I once had to pull the car onto the hard shoulder of the m1 because I was laughing so hard I couldn't see properly as the tears were pouring from my eyes!
