Such a great and beautiful moment yesterday, I can imagine the smile on Paul's face... A big BRAVO to all who comited to organize the whole thing, you made something so special and sincere happen, I agree with those who highlighted that this made all of us proud to be part of the lfgss community.
RIP Paul.Loic

One story I have just remembered (nothing to do about Fiddy) was turning up at Dancing James house to collect the decks en route with the food to find him answering the door holding a baby. What sprung to mind was "fuck me he's kept that one quiet" but it turns out it was his sisters baby but then again you never know ;p

Wow
What a day.
We all made it happen and should be proud of what we achieved.
Perhaps this should just be a list for people to add to, I don't want anyone left out
Huge thanks to all the people who made it so special:
Firstly Adrian/Alien whose organisational skills made it all happen. Fiddy for instigating the whole damn thing, Hugh for conducting the service, BDW and the graphics boys for the coffin, Emilié, Jay and Peter for their contribution to the service, Clefty and the C&H for arranging the food, Diable and Lynx for driving bits around, Bright Times, Clefty and Loic for the spoke cards, -

+1.
I kept thinking about him being just outside having a fag and giving me a cheeky smile and a wink as I left.
Great day full of emotions I can't put into words.
Thank you all.

I only met fiddy a couple of times. Once we both turned up too late for a ride and were the only ones there, timekeeping really wasn't his thing. Took the day off to pay my respect to the legend and glad I came. Amazing effort by everyone. Thanks to the organizers. rip fiddy.

this was one intense day, people! first a big thanks and awe of respect for the organizers of this memorable and very special day. from start meeting up at the foundry, the ride without getting lost, i even didn't really mind the rain, just the wet feet :P
then, all sunny after the ceremony and the well scouted, nice and open place for the wake.the many known and some new faces, you all where grate. good memories include especially the moser decorated 'box' - carbon possibly - and lastly, even after a whole day of good guinness and all, the carrying of the not to be named, wobbly fellow cyclis off the icy street to a "nearby" place to sober up in dignity ;) good to read you're fine.
some good chatting in the closest pub we could find before lights out.thank you all for that day, the forum for the chance to meet paul but before all to meet peeps, who can pull something like off.
... a truly bright hour of the forum to come through on a more sad venue like that. not having tested mine to this extend, i envy paul for such friends and can only wonder, what a grate friend he must have been to them.
i hope this post makes sense.

Hmm, I'd just like to apologise for that crotch...... but a bike mechanic and fitter is never without a spare inner tube, his plumb bob, spirit level and tape measure!
On a slightly more serious note, thx to all the organisers, marshalls on the ride - what a way for Fiddy to be sent off!
