for sale my beloved Princess Mononoke. I have been riding her fixed for the last 2 1/2 years.
I bought this frame when I was living in Provence and the guy I bought it off gave me a stack of ride certificates that he won on this bike starting from 1969 when he bought it new until 1984.
I am selling it with BB + crankset because I don't have the tools to take it apart. Therefore I don't know the conditions of the bearings. The only thing I know is that it rides really well.
The thing this frame really really needs is to be stripped and powder coated.
It has quite a lot of rust and scratches.
No dings!
The crankset brand is SR and it says Melt Forging on the side. Talking with the guy @ London Fields Cycles that replaced the bearings last year is a brilliant set.
The BB apparently is made for Campagnolo Ceramic bearings. However, I asked for normal bearings to be fitted as I didn't know (and still don't) about the improvements of using ceramic over steel.
I think the size is 49cm (read the edit at the end of the post) but don't trust my word on it. I am 5' 9 and I needed the seatpost to be right at the top to have a comfy ride.

Pic of the frame now
Pic of the frame with some wheels on in London Fields
Not sure about how much is worth.
I would start by saying £SOLD considering it comes with fork + BB + crankset.
BTW when I bought it, it had Bonanza stickers that I removed. However, the wheel plugs say Brev. Campagnolo so, again, I don't know.
PS. If somebody tells me how to measure it I will post the exact size.
EDIT:
I did a rough measurement to be considered +/- 5%.
Center of the bottom bracket to the meeting point with the center tube 52cm.
Center of the bottom bracket to the very top of the tube 54cm.
Thank you coppiThat !
Still one to go:
One frame + BB + headset + crank + pedal + 46 tooth (very cheap) chain ring
Brand: create (rebadged unipak)
Condition: fairly new no dings, few scratches.
For sale for a tenner + a can of beer tomorrow night at the circle line ride (lol)
