Collision – What Next?

i bought a new pair of mavic elipse wheels today, after fitting them and giving my drive train a nice clean up i decided to head home from the shop. coming off Blackfriars bridge a car in front of me pulls over to the lef lane cutting me off. then he decides to cut back over to the right, by which point im going through a gap and he squises me in to a taxi! the mother fucker destroyed my front wheel on its first ride!!!! we swap details and i head back to the shop. after a quick check it is apparent that the forks (easton EC90sl) are bent! then on further inspection they are actually cracked!! i call the driver and tell him he's gonna have to pay for new forks £175 with staff discount. to hearing this he gives me an earful about it being my fault and not paying for new forks blah blah blah. so i head over to the nearest cop shop to get the forms and shit necessary to sort everything out. im meeting him on monday to get some cash, but hopefully i wont have to take this to court.

tell him he can either pay now or pay later adding the legal costs of getting lawyers involved. It shouldn't go anywhere near court. you have a witness i hope?
