20 odd mile loop

Can anyone suggest me a fairly good smooth loop (ish) that I can ride on an evening? I want to up my mileage by a lot this year so i'm looking for after work rides. I live down Platt Lane if that matters.

I sometimes ride down that way, its like 8 miles just from altrincham though, so probably a bit over 20 mines there and back.
