Thanks for the answers, you all are very helpful. It seems that the only alternative is to cut the charge slice.
I have one question thought. Would it be difficult if I buy the Profile Design stoker to remove the colour and polish the middle part? I'm asking this since the stem I'll use is 26mm. Or just buy a shim and not bother.
