even uglier, but in a strange way i like them. I must be naturally vulgar.

the driveline set from the link above is also available in 165. I got that. Working out alright so far, but only been running it for a week. Although, it seems I paid a £10er too much for it from this ebay shop!
http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_trksid=m38&_nkw=Driveline+Track+Chainset+165+mm+48T+Ps. They're fairly ugly looking and look cheap. But the BB (110mm English threaded) included makes it a good budget choice.

I don't think you'll get cheaper than the Velosolo one, M8.

that £30 one looks kind of shit, do you just bin it when the teeth are worn? false economy

Plastic, good point. I'd have thought the chainring can be replaced...surely?

On the cheap Stronglights the Chainring can´t be replaced. My girlfriend has the Lasco cranks on her beater. Shes been riding it for 1,5 years without any problems. They are quite nice for the money but look really nasty on the inside (side facing the frame). But even Campy Centaurs are not pretty there. The Byercycles offer is really the better one considering you are getting a 103mm BB with it.
Hi, just wondered if anyone can recommend a singlespeed/track chainset.
Velosolo has the Lasco Track and Singlespeed Chainset, which looks OK, but I'm really looking for something cheaper.
In the past I've converted road chainsets but, whilst cheaper, this can prove a lot more hassle in the long run...chainline issues!
