"Per Unit" hosting costs are falling steadily, driven by Moore's Law type falls in the capital cost of server hardware, particularly storage, and a slower but nonetheless noticeable decline in the bulk cost of bandwidth as more and better infrastructure comes on line. Since a year ago, my hosting package has stayed at the same price, but the permitted storage has doubled and the bandwidth has gone from a limited level I thought I was in danger of breaching even with my little site (<150,000 pages/mo) to unlimited.
Just sayin'...
