Current Projects... on BikeRadar..
£10

WHAT DO THE £1 AND £10 items in the posts mean ?
hope it is not what you think the bike is worth !!
most expensive item on refurb was the paint ; 3 cans of metallic ford regency red
whole refurb for under 60 pounds
Michelin speed tyres are 35 years old have been in the dark for at least 25 of those years
will use the current projects one next time

We have a lot of pointless threads on here that should have been put in an existing thread, so we suggest a £1 forum donation to start a thread, especially for threads like yours and those like 'what colour bike should I buy' threads.

Fuck sake.
Why is it always people with ugly shitty bikes that are about as remarkable as finding carrots in the veg section at Tesco that feel the need to create seperate threads for their gash rides? -

Do you work for Foffa? doing up that old bike. Mind you £60 is a lot less than £400
-
• #21
well harry i see you have only started 88 threads yourself

wikey be nice, harry is valued on this forum by many people, despite his sometimes vitriolic tone... he speaks a grain of truth. Your bike is all fine and dandy TO YOU. Shutup about it please, unless you're on the Current Projects thread. Some people might dig it posted there, and tell you what they think or ask you how you did such and such. (Not sure why are you posting pictures of an (albeit nice) old saddle, whilst showing the bike with a ubernormal ladyshopper gel saddle? Finish the bike, then take a picture.) Yeah, actually your bike's pretty nice, in my opinion. Harry no doubt thinks Falcons are all gas pipe but an old one like that may well be a rather well built frame, Ernie Clements is a fairly rated builder and this is likely to be his. You probably know this.
Aren't you the guy who a while ago was trying to sell a nice old vintage 50s road bike with gash parts put on it for a quite large amount? And everyone here helpfully told you if you wanted to sell it for some kind of good money, you should strip it and sell the frame on its own. You weren't having it, cos you;d just built it up with this odd selection of parts.
No your curtain looks gash, whereas that orange one is really excellent.

hey skully
i am only new on this site so still trying to sort out where to post various things
i have just put a post on current projects about an old mercian with nervex lugs etc that i have just bought off a friend and am going to start a project with ithow can i transfer this this to that other than redoing all the posts there?
the thing about the old saddle is it will go on the bike after i have replaced some of the rivets on it. paint job i did myself, as well as sorting drop out alignment and change from 5 to 10 speed etc etcso can i xfer this to the current projects and also i think my tone to harry was much nicer than his to me , hey but i dont mind it was just a retort if you like

Fuck sake.
Why is it always people with ugly shitty bikes that are about as remarkable as finding carrots in the veg section at Tesco that feel the need to create seperate threads for their gash rides? In all my years, I've never been able to find carrots in the Tesco fruit and veg section. Should I try the Harrod's Food Hall instead?
Apparently, one should raise one's standards, and not resort to ugly or shitty produce.
Goodbye LIDLs.......it was good while it lasted.
this was my brothers bike when new and i have kept it going over the years just given it a refurb for the new millenium .. only took me 10 years to do it ha ha
was 5 speed now 10
