i wear my bowler now and then. people love to knock on it to see if it's hard or not. very strange.

i'd recommend going down to james lock & sons to see their hat selection, try a few on and see what suits you. they're london's oldest hat shop (oh and they invented the bowler hat), and it's a real experience even being in the shop. they've got pretty much any shaped hat you can think of in there. they're a bit expensive, but then you can at least know what you're on the look-out for.
