Possibly bit cheeky but feeling the need for new wheels on the current project. Planning on Mavic CXP 33 rims with Miche Primato hubs (still debating hi/lo flange). Does anyone have any discount codes/staff discounts that they would just love to share. There's a chocolate biscuit and a firm handshake in it for you. Oh yeah, and I'm sure I keep asking this but always forget what people say - who would you really trust to build wheels in ncl?

they get a guy in at ride (denton's) just to build wheels i'm pretty sure so they'd no doubt be reliable.

Id trust anyone if it meant not doing it myself. I don't trust myself.

A few guys from the MTB club I'm in have had off-road wheels built by steels (S. Gosforth) and never had any problems at all.

Yeah, have a good feeling about them - went in earlier as it happens and they'll do it for £15 which ain't bad

I meant Steels tbh. This is not meant to be rude to them but a couple of people have said they've had less than perfect builds from Dentons - now I know no-one ever really talks about a good build but fancy trying somewhere else.
Steels have been around for donkey's + had a chat with them yesterday and needless to say, they're totally clued up.
Just need to scrape together some $$ to pay for it all now - won't be this month

My Beloved Volume Cutter frame and forks.
I think I'm going to sell my Cutter F/F. It's an amazing frameset, but just slightly too small for me unfortunately, too much toe overlap.
56CM - It's RAW with clearcoat, and other than a couple of 20 mile rides, I've only dodged about town on it, so it's in perfect nick still..
It's got the volume logo cut out of the head tube, and a plastic protective sheet to stop the North East filth getting in, lovely touch.
Good few flicks of it on my blog here : http://marcross.biz/
I'm probably looking for £200 F/F, I'd chuck in that Redneck XLT stem on it for an extra £35 too.
Anyone looking for a freestyle build or something super strong to blast about on look no further !!

same reason i opted not to get a trick frame in the end, i want to go fast fast fast.

Yeah, I didn't think it was gonna be so different after seeing a few builds, but I went out on my conversion and thought the handling and speed was actually better

same here
tbh theres not too much point in getting a trick frame unless you're really going to abuse it - stairsets, drops, shit like that. just get a decent steel track frame and adapt to the geo!
tis a lovely frame though, like the raw, nice touch.

Iv got a brand new Baltimore Orioles New era, boxed, size 7 1/8. Bought it off the internet from america but they sent the wrong size and cant be arsed with sending it back so its yours for only £15
Hey lads, im selling a campagnolo eurus front wheel which I have sprayed the rim metallic black. Reason for sale is I have just bought a matching mavic ellipse front wheel for my bike. Im looking roughly 80 pounds for it, considering it uses record hubs, thats pretty cheap. Its the wheel thats on my bike in the names to bikes bit or whatever it is lol. Thanks.
