^Not really; I grew up watching Morecambe and Wise and still went out and did stupid stuff. The difference between a few bruises and a broken neck when you fall out of a tree is pretty slight and down to chance. Today I saw a guy with his two children, of about 3 and 5, walking along the pavement. Well, he was walking, they were on their little push-scooter things; both of them wearing cycle helmets. That is something I blame on the media, by and large. Kids will always die in silly accidents, just as adults do; death claims a random crop every day. These children's 'stupidity' is not something to be mocked or derided though.
