If I make comments that offend people then they can call me on it; and I will admit if I think I made a misjudgment. Please don't get all pissy because someone tells you what they think of something you wrote; if "it's the internet" is a defence for you then equally it is for me. But I don't understand the view of anyone who could read the story here and feel it necessary to insult the boy regardless of whether or not his family or friends would read it. If that comment was what came in to your mind when you read the story then fine, you certainly have the right to post it. Other people have the right to tell you they thought it was uncalled for and heartless.
