Unfortunately Adrienne couldn't make it.
That made it a tough call as we were all there waiting to go.
Also, with Tom back and forth from Amsterdam we all wanted to play today.
Step forward Bianca.

The first game had Fiasco holding Cosmic off for the majority.

The 2nd game saw Josh and Tony pushing more with their attacking and Cosmic working hard to stop their fast game. A few loose balls for either side but Cosmic converting them into goals.

The 3rd game was similar but had Fiasco finding their groove. If only they had began the fixture like this. Some epic goals from Mr Goldenwheel and some very nice Fiasco play.

A good clean fast game.

Snoopy may have more to add.

Oh, and a punishing strike from Tomasito to Bianca's ankle! Ouch!
Tom will be doing all the cooking for a while. ;)

FTR: I have updated the league blog, all the fixture release dates etc are correct now to account for the xmas/bad weather break.

We appreciate that you gave the okay to play with a sub. So was cool to have B step in for adrienne (get well soon) and get some league action. B covered the goal strong, making some solid saves as well as some good out of goal moves - Adrienne would have been proud.

Despite the final score line, fiasco made us play hard for the win. Think the 1st game was 0-0 for nearly 10mins!

Cheers to the disgruntled beards and 2 part apples for game and goal refing.

its a real shame Adrienne couldn't play, but it was also really nice of here to let a sub play instead. I'm pretty sure most players wouldn't like to do that in her position.

Sorry Ades was ill today, I was really looking forward to watching Cosmic and Fiasco play, but it wasn't quite the same from goal (not quite as relaxing).

Thank you everyone for my first ever taste of league games, it was fun! Nobody can doubt my commitment to Fiasco after saving Tom's shot with my ankle!

Looking forward to seeing most of you in Karlsruhe x

Yeah that's correct. we always had sparkle booked in 1st. Besides a big game like cosmic v apples needs to be played on a big court - allows room for all the action! So can we aim to play you guys at 11am? Rik you best not let us down!
