proabably not...could only run suicide fixed.

look ok for ss. it's £44.99 for a pair though

screw-on freewheel = old fashioned, 5, 6, 7 speed only I think
-

Suicide fixed hub or BMX Freewheel only.
Well, or the old fashioned screw on blocks too...

They're ok wheels, rigida rims, no-name hubs, etc. They turn around n stuff, and only 45 a pair :)

on one hubs to open sports would actually be safe (if you're planning on fixed), and miles better.
but could probably get better for the same price second hand.

guys, if he's running fulcrum racing 7s then he's not likely to be putting these wheels on a fixed or single speed bike.
Also you cannot screw a bmx freewheel onto old screw-on cassette style wheels without re-dishing them first. Same goes for a suicide fixed. Chainline would be horrific.

Sorry these were planned for my PX SL Carbon.... 10 Speed Ultegra (should have clarified).
My rear wheel rim is bent so i think ill just sell the wheel set and rebuild my DA 7700 hubs onto Open Pros instead

Iv got the brand x rear wheel from that link going spare. I'm an idiot and didn't check the hub on it, so can't use it. PM me if you want it.

What's the OLD/spacing on these brand x wheels?
-
• #12
If you tell me what that means I can check for you.

if you are running ten speed, you need a hub with a freehub, not with threads.
Hi All,
Has anyone bought a set of these;
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=42634
I have damaged the rear wheel rim on my PX wheels and am currently using my fulcrums 7s instead (which i intend to sell shortly as a wheelset). CRC have this wheelset for £20...would it be worth a punt for commuting only?
