Every time I have done the Dunwich I cane the first half so I can get to the food station asap and not have to wait for so long. You can always take it easy on the home stretch.
I think as a group we should leave London Fields around 7 - 7:30, that way you get out of East London avoiding the congestion and out into the countryside whilst it is still light.
I agree with MA3K, first half at full tilt and then take it a bit easier after the food stop. However, if we left London Fields 7 - 7.30 we would HAVE to have our own food on the van as the regular food stop probably won't be open yet, and unless we all ride at the same pace the van would have to hang about for ages!
How much is the coach back that Barry Mason organises? I'm sure it was about £15 for early-bird and more for late comers. Surely forumungers would be prepared to pay a similar amount to get a better 'bespoke' service?
Anyway, I've ticked the poll counter - definately in.
