Reculver - So what are you saying ? Still £100 less than that and £250 less than what he paid 3 months ago. And it is virtually brand new. Would you like me to give the thing away? If you're not interested, thanks but flame someone else.
Muleboy - I'm based in Herts, but in London a couple of times every week. Happy to bring in if you're London based, I travel a lot with work as well.

Give the guy a break.
You don't need to have a degree in business to tell you that when your selling something 2nd hand you quote as high an rrp as possible. -

Tomatoe - no, never sold you a single speed on one, had a few though, great bikes.
Reculver - just trying to sell a bike for a mate, so cut me some slack. He paid £550. Call him an arse but thems the facts

r u gon drop da price then?
I fucking hate text speak.
-
• #11
Me too, I'll only consider dropping the price for people who can speak properly.
If someone wanted to make an offer other than just tell me my mate is a dipstick for paying full price, then I'll listen.
Cheers

Give the guy a break.
You don't need to have a degree in business to tell you that when your selling something 2nd hand you quote as high an rrp as possible. You also don't need a degree in business to know that when buying you compare things with the lowest rrp. Then slag off the product and claim you can get it cheaper elsewhere, and further claim you are doing the guy a favour taking it off his hands.
Having said that £300 is pretty decent if its 100%.

Kona Paddy Wagon - 50 miles from new, absolutely unmarked and spotless. Why pay £550 for a new one, this is £300 because my mate has gone back to Australia in a hurry.....typical of all convicts.
Its an 08 model, so Sun rims and Tektro brakes, good finishing kit, flip flop hub (fixed/SS) in that lovely grey. Good quality Dedacciai COM 12.5 double butted cromo, real steel.....
Its a 56cm. Perfect for 5'9 to about 6'1" (I'm a 6 footer and its a comfortable fit)
Its like this, http://www.konabikes.co.uk/2008/paddy-wagon/2008-paddy-wagon-big.jpg
Honestly, you don't need a photo of this one, there is not a single mark on it and even the tyres still have the little bits of sticky out rubber on them. Cheap winter bike, has mudguard eyelets and will take up to 28mm tyres, just like the old style winter bikes. Perfect commuter. Lovely bike, a real hoot to ride.
