i'm thinking of getting my first tattoo (a small celebratory one) done quickly tomorrow morning in Newcastle, anyone know 'pure ink's' opening hours?

Well the guy is very visibly tattooed, so I'm sure he's in a trade where he feels comfortable to go to that extreme, I highly doubt it's fake.

agreed, while I think it's not a great tattoo, I suspect this'll be the first of getting his face covered in the grand scheme of things it might well work, but for now it looks shit imo.

There's a lot to designing a good tattoo - it isn't just a question of drawing a good picture. Don't ever get an artist to tattoo something you've drawn onto yourself.

The swallow is a classic b it of design. Take that design as an idea to a decent artist whose work you like and design the ink you want WITH them.

the design would be alot bigger,dale (that esher idea is very nice too) Bleak Ref, this is what i thought so put it up on here first as i know there are a fair few bods that are clued up, just to get a general idea, will do some reserch in to tattoo artists thanks for the feed back
