My mercian's been stolen (recovered)

my mercian's been stolen, from inside london marylbone station. it isn't hard to spot, it's a one-of-a-kind custom job. if you see a bike that looks anything like this, it's mine. ring me (mobile number in the numbers thread).

specs:
metallic dark grey frame (doesn't have the top tube protector as in the photos below anymore; there's another 'mercian' logo underneath) with neon yellow forks. the frame has an aero wedge headtube and the seatstays are one piece
wheels rigida dp18s with royce hubs (and one-off black leather brooks branded hub shiners), with rubino pro's
full campagnolo record drivechain
concor supercorsa saddle
campag record two-bolt seatpost
mavic headset, hand-filleted stem and nitto dropbars (currently sporting really bad wrap job with neon yellow bartape)

again, it's a one-of-a-kind bike and unquestionably mine. i desperately want it back.

locked with an abus granit city chain x-plus. and locked directly underneath a cctv camera.

I think the beauty of that bike is a double edged sword. So nice that it will be undoubtedly attract theives but also so unique and lovely that it surely can't stay stolen for long.

As with everyone else, I'll keep my eyes out.

Also, it might be worth giving Mercian a shout and notifying them just in case it gets sold on and someone gets in contact with them wanting to know a bit more about it.

I have had a bicycle stolen and felt terrible and I expect you will aswell.
I'm really sorry for your lost even thoguh I am not to blame. I hope that you get your bike back in piece and the thieves get caught and prosecuted.

I hate to be the one who says it but despite the good publicity this thread will get in the general section, there is always the chance the thief will check this forum. If they become aware of the fact we are all on the lookout and will retrieve the bike if we see it, they may end up keeping it inside. Then it will never be found.

Let me know if I'm being a hypocrite and any of that should be deleted, don't want to give the shitheads ideas...
