Hi everyone,
I’ve just sorted out another lot of interesting and bargain frames. Shipping on frames within the UK will be £11 - other items can ship free of charge in the same box. I can ship anywhere in the world at a reasonable cost.
PLEASE also see my frames thread from last week which has a really cool NOS lo-pro and gorgeous Dave Lloys Concept 90, and a Raleigh Royal touring frame.
You can access the thread at:
http://www.londonfgss.com/thread35156.html
ALL ITEMS ARE IN BRISTOL
Payment can be via bank transfer (preferred), cheque or the dreaded Paypal which costs me 3%…
** If you dib an item, please PM me and pay the same day unless you make other arrangements with me. **
Viewing/Personal collection is welcome as quite a few have found and have been able to get other parts they are looking for at the same time.

TEAM BRITE MICRO LO-PRO TT FRAME Reynolds 853 c1998 built by Paul Donohue
Ex Chris Newton
Seat Tube (ctt): 44.5cm (17.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 52cm (20.5in)
Rear dropout width: 130mm
Wheel size: 700C
Frame tubing: Reynolds 853
This frame is an ex Team Brite micro lo-pro frame that was ridden by Chris Newton around 1998 and is beautifully built from Reynolds 853 tubing. Paul Donohue’s works built all the Team Brite frames and they employed a tig welder who was truly superb - in my opinion he was just as good as the tig welders at Merlin who I had seen working back in 1994. Its a really gorgeous frame which would equate to about a conventional 21.5 in road frame and is designed for use with a long aero seatpost and aero bars of course. It comes complete as shown in the photos with its original bladed carbon fibre forks. £225
DIAMOND ROAD FRAME ** NEW and UNUSED**
Seat Tube (ctc): 23in (58cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 22.5in (57cm)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Brake drop with 700C wheel: 43mm
Wheel size: 700C
This NOS Belgian made frame is really rather nice and is very attractively finished in excellent yellow and green paint. It would make an excellent conversion with its horizontal droputs - its built from a good quality butted tubing. £95 SOLD
BOB JACKSON ROAD FRAME c1985
Seat Tube (ctt): 58cm (23in)
Top Tube (ctc): 56.5cm (22.25in)
Rear dropout width: 125mm
Wheel size: 700C
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531C
Brake drop with 700C/Sprint wheel: 45mm
This Bob Jackson is severely in need of refurbishment – it looks as if it has been used on a home turbo... However it is very sound – there is one very small dent to the side of the top tube but there are no other problems apart from it needing a good powder coat. A chance to get a bargain at £95 SOLD
RON COOPER ROAD FRAME early 1970s
Seat Tube (ctt): 57cm (22.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 56cm (22in)
Rear dropout width: 124mm
Wheel size: 700C
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
Ron Cooper is one of the true greats of British frame building having learnt his craft at Gillotts post-war and building all the later Gillotts up until about 1970. This frame dating I think from the early 70s really shows just how good a builder he was - the drilled lugs with one small hole, a larger hole and then a small hole again are really cool as is the seat binder bolt which is beautifully built into the seat lug. Ron Cooper frames are really rather uncommon. £125 SOLD
RIBBLE ROAD FRAME c1989
Seat Tube (ctt): 52cm (20.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 53cm (21in)
Rear dropout width: 128mm
Wheel size: 700C
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531C
This Rible road frame from the late 1980s is in really rather nice condition - the paintwork is generally very good and useable but needs need touching up where the front dropout was rebrazed into the fork blade - the dropout had very little brze and attaching it to the blade so it was thought wise to rebraze it. The standard of construction of the rest of the frame looks to be excellent. £75 SOLD
RALEIGH PURSUIT ROAD FRAME 1980s
Seat Tube (ctt): 60cm
Top Tube (ctc): 56cm
Rear dropout width: 124mm
Wheel size: Sprints or 700C
Brake drop with 700C wheel: 46mm
This Raleigh frame is in very sound condition with perfectly useable paint. The right rear dropout could easily be filed out to make it a long horizontal dropout ideal for a budget fixed/singlespeed conversion. £29
MBK TEAM REPLICA c1991 NEW OLD STOCK
Seat Tube (ctc): 53cm (55cm ctt)
Top Tube (ctc): 21.5in (55cm)
Rear dropout width: 130mm
Front Brake drop with 700C wheel: 46mm
Wheel size: 700C
Frame tubing: Columbus SL
This is a rather nice NOS MBK frame from the early 1990s built from Columbus tubing which is ovalised at the bottom bracket. The top tube takes the rear brake cable in a slot along the length of the top tube's underside – very neat and cool. Overall this is one really rather special frame. The semi-vertical dropouts should mean that a fixed or single-speed conversion should not be too difficult. £175
BRITISH EAGLE MIXTE FRAME c1990 45cm!
Seat Tube (ctt): 17.5in (45cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 20.5in (52cm)
Rear dropout width: 130mm
Wheel size: 26in MTB
Frame Tubing: Reynolds 531 main tubes
Seatpost size: 27.0mm
This is a very small British Eagle mixte frame that uses 26in MTB size wheels – its built with Reynolds 531 main tubes so is of really quite nice quality. It comes complete as shown in the pics with BB, headset and Suntour cantilever brakes. £49 SOLD
RUDGE CLUBMAN FRAME c1949
Seat Tube (ctt): 56cm (22in)
Top Tube (ctc): 55cm (21.5in)
Rear dropout width: 114mm
Wheel size: 27in/
Brake drop with sprints/700C: 58mm
Raudge Clubman frames were one one step up from the basic Raleigh Lenton model or its Rudge equivalent with cutaway lugs, slightly steeper frame angles and Reynolds 531 butted main tubes. This one has charming original paint though the forks may possibly not be original – they are however certainly Rudge forks... These are really underrated frames which ride nicely and make a great conversion. £39 SOLD
PEUGEOT ROAD FRAME 1980s
Seat Tube (ctc): 21.5in (55cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 22in (56cm)
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Brake drop with 700C wheel: 46mm
Wheel size: 700C
Peugeot made very nice cheaper road frames in the 1970s/80s - this one has very good paint. The rear dropout width and horizontal dropouts make it an ideal candidate for a budget conversion to fixed or singlespeed. reduced to £22
