I always wondered how bad this was on the frame, and how it affects the tubes fatigue...
If you are riding a Charge or a trick bike, that's fine, but on a classic track bike, or on road bike conversion, when pencil seat stays are present for instance...On my Holsdworth, I was alway nervous about the pencil seat stays precisely when skidding (I would only rarely do skid stop with it, as I am not good at it and I had a front brake anyway on that bike) and it broke somewhere else...
