I could be up for this Josh, it depends on uni placements and a few other things but in theory I'd love to do it (and go to the euros).

This was recommended to me so I asked for it at Christmas. Only had a flick through but it looks pretty comprehensive.
I saw the Paris stage last year and am planning on seeing Le Grand Depart at Rotterdam. (Don't know if Tomasito has any polo ideas for then?)
I'd also quite like to be at the Geneva EHBPCs in some capacity. Don't know how things would work out with bikes and dates though.

I really want to go cycling/camping in France this year and check out a tour stage
and
I really want to play polo at the Euros in Geneva! It's such a shame I can't play polo on my road bike and I definitely can't manage those hills on my polo bike.
I think we'll go touring in France again some point this year, but unfortunately probably not at the same time as le tour/euros. Sounds like a fab idea though and definitely worth checking out a mountain stage.
Are you planning on camping? If so, we've probably got lots of tips.

I would also be quite up for this. Was planning a tour around that time anyway.

the polo bike/touring bike dilemma is challenging. i am having ricky feather here in leeds (http://feathercycles.blogspot.com/) build me a frame that i hope i can afford to equip by then, but not sure if i can do this single speed or if i'll have to throw a dérailleur and 7 speed wheel on the back. at the very least i will take along at least 16/20 freewheels, and a few different chainrings.
i am hesitant to camp because of the amount for gear required, and i don't have any of it with me, but if i am able to do it without buying all new gear it would be really nice. there are some very interesting b&bs/guesthouses in france also.
i've decided to undertake a little journey by bicycle this july, checking our the tour de france stages near brussels, and then riding on to the EHBPCs in geneva. it's about 900km over 12-13 days. anyone have any tips/advice for this, or does anyone else want to come along?
