it's a sort of free for all classifieds site, with a possibility of bidding but that's not 'legally binding' like on ebay. neither does it have an end to the 'auctions'. best is just to e-mail the seller and ask if they speak english and are willing to post overseas.

Cheers for that-I lived in France for a while and have a gander on their classifieds when I need stuff, but have had a few bad experiences, even when using Paypal and looking out for all the usual silly stuff, or, even worse is I see something I really want and the lazy buggers won't post...
So, do you know if in amongst all that Dutch is an Ebay style protection if you use Paypal?

Yeah, Fruit did this for me with some Sugino Super Mighty's, awesome bloke, re-paid the favor with his sheriff star hubs. Would happily buy off Marktplaats again, just ask for advice, there are a few scammers.
