For Sale: Claud Butler Town Bike split and bits

  • Due to the recent rixon purchase I need to sell this which I built very recently and is an awesome ride, but needs must...

I'm gonna split, but please feel free to make an offer for the lot if you fancy it.

    Claud Butler Road/Path frame.
Built for 27's but clearances are not bad at all. Rear wheel tucked in as it is leaves just about enough space for a thumb with 23 tyre.

    Seat tube is 56 c-t

Top tube is 57 or even 57.5 c-c

    Seattube 26.4

Reynolds 531st awesomeness. Haven't really found much out about it but st means super touring.

Slight pitting in places but nothing major

Complete with seatpost, headset and bb both running smooth.

    £150

700c double fixed wheelset, sold to me as maillard on mavic but hub make is actually exceltc.

36 hole front and back, threads perfect on both sides of rear. Looks like a brake has been used on the rims but being silver will polish up nicely should you so wish.

Look lovely, nice vintage wheelset. Complete with 18t 1/18 sprocket (Think it's Andel) and lockring. (Welcome to the old tyres/ tubes if you want)

    £110 or £100 without sprocket/lockring

SR fluted track cranks. 43t. look more like 165 than 170 but not 100%. £25

SR pedals in good condition with both dust caps, pitted cages and white lapize straps £15

KMC silent chain, really is silent. Used for about 10 miles. £7

Raleigh chrome stem and bar combo £10

Silver generic mudgards, complete with all fittings and bolts £20 new, literally fitted and not ridden £15

All prices are negotiable if you think I've badly overpriced something.

Will be more willing to negotiate if you can come collect from Whitechapel with cash/paypal by the end of today/tonight.

  • How much for the Chewie on the wall?

    PM'd hen

  • Only available for trade of hairy blue tac. Vintage 1991 chewing gum that. Full of flava.

What are the mudgaurds? - I know generic but did they come from online?

  • £20 from recycled in elephant and castle. Were missing the bolts to attach to eyelets though (tut tut) ALL LIES. I FOUND THE ATTACHING BOLTS WHEN SELLING THE MUDGUARDS. RECYCLED ARE GREAT. :)

  • what a nice bike! maybe you could help me?

I need help identifying my Claud Butler. i just bought the frame. and the paint has been mostly worn down on the top bar where any hint of a name would be, but luckily it still says Claud Butler. but the serial number is 60066 or 99009 depending on how you look at it, and it's located underneath where the pedals are.
