Wheel Set For Sale. Son SL42s and Miche Primato Hubs

I'm looking at selling my wheelset.

Matt Silver H+Sons SL42 Rims.

High Flange Miche Primato Hubs (rear fixed-fixed)

Front is laced up radial and the rim in machined.

These have done very few miles (had them made just as the snow started......)

In great condition.

All together they'd cost about £300 if you wanted to put them together yourself, so looking for around the £250 mark

Where are you getting the £300 from...
Rims = £110 the pair?
Hubs = £45-£50 on eBay
Spokes & nips = £15 per wheel
Build = £20 per wheel (max)

I make that £230 without tubes and tyres...

Jester from my far away perch and having just sold a wheelset on this here forum.
either you price them to sell, below what you think they are worth, or you wait until summer and sell them for closer to what you want. Winter's a bad time to try and get your money back with secondhand merchandise, no matter how great the condition, buyers market in winter, sellers market in summer. I thought everyone knew that.
Not having taken the time to check how long you've been on here, and seeing how you've put this up in bikes and bits, rather than classifieds, so it doesn't show how long you've been a member, you should already know that this forum can be a harsh place for people selling stuff for what is perceived to be "over the odds", you might have saved yourself a bit of a flaming, and I say may, by putting up a price, rather than trying to get people into a bidding war.
If you find it a little hard here, then ebay may be best for you. Put a reserve on them and see how high they go.

Alright teen, so your math is clearly great...

120 plus 85 plus 45 x 2 equals £295 so I'd make that a 45 quid loss on a wheelset that's done no more than 50k...

Ah, my mistake... You coulda saved yourself a fortune if you'd come on here and asked for some build advice in the first place, you've paid over the odds for what is an average wheelset IMHO...
Anyway, hope you get what you want for them... Peas...
