Well done Tommy for having the self restraint to back down. For a while you'll feel like shit but it will pass.
Some of us here are NOT fighters and there is NO shame in that. Some of us here are a lot more willing to fight fire with fire. They should be thanked over being mocked; how many stories have read of decent folk being harangued, harassed and run off the road by idiots that are nothng more than bullies who have turned to the police for help and justice only to have the door shut in their faces. The next person that gives that driver what he was asking for will make him think twice about doing it again. For what ever reason these kinds of drivers see cycling as a sign of weakness.
Disclaimer: I'm not suggesting that this is the way to deal with the large majority of situations but this constant call of passivism aint always the way.
