  • If you read my posts again, you'll see I have no problem with people living in houses, in fact, they're probably the best places to live (Ferraris excluded). My point was houses that are much bigger than they need to be. Right, so one off pollution costs are fine, so why are manufactures targeting their methods of manufacturing even more than the cars emissions themselves? I mean, it's just a one-off, can't do that much harm can it?

    Excess in house size is still excess. The same as leaving all your lights on.. or wasting water.

    But, a house is constructed once. It doesn't keep polluting. It doesn't run over people.
    What are the C02 emissions for the constructing of a house versus a car? Then what are the ongoing emissions? Remembering people NEED shelter.. they don't NEED cars.
