I should add that I know this seems a bonkers question, but really asking whether they either massive or super massive.
-
• #11
yeah cos I realised the pic doesn't really show the clearances.
Here it is again though ;-)They're not 'super massive' - I run a 32 Marathon Plus rear and 28 Marathon front

ifonce I became a polo regular... Slamm's is beyond awesome... -

They offer 20% off all parts ordered at the same time with Bruisers which goes some way to offsetting customs charges. You can also customise your finish on it. I've certainly looked at them seriously.

The bummer is you have to pay 17.5% VAT on top of everything + customs + shipping. Its not ridiculous. Its just not the same nice price the site makes you believe you can get it for.

Yea. If it was a decent price difference and no wait time I'd be tempted for sure. Nice bikes.

we looked into doing the Bruiser at TFG but the dealer margins are skinny & it looked like it might have to retail close to £400 which is a fair bit for this frame. The only people I'v talked to who really really want one over whats currently availabe in the UK are customers who need the brake mount. We still might get one or two in though.
Hihi,
As far as I am aware there are no UK stockists of the frame, and I think there should be. After the wait + shipping + customs charges, ordering the bruiser direct is significantly more expensive that for our US based friends.
I can't give any info away, but its probably obvious enough to many of you who know where I work what might be on the cards.
I'm just interested to know if people would be interested in purchasing bruisers, especially given the immanent release of the scissor (although admitidly they are two very different kettles of fish). In particular I know its meant to be an ideal Polo frame....
