A couple of big purchases plus unemployment means I’ve got to clear out the bits I’ve picked up.

Fames:

- 1960s Mercian Track / road path etc. 55cm - £165ono** [SOLD]**

Not available as of yet (as its still fully built), but soon to be, my Mercian. Really lovely bike, but its just a little big.

Some tired paint, but in sound condition with no dents (see here for more of the good and bad). Chrome dropoutsand the rear stays are 3/4 chrome underneath.

Not 100% it's a road path, as Harry thought the mud guard braze ons might have come later and the rear is not drilled. Anyway its great.

Original steel Campag headset inc. The chrome outside has seen better days, but the inside is smooth and has new races. Happy to inc. a well functioning sugino 103 BB for £5, and prob can sort out a deal on the messenger cranks if you want.

Happy for ppl to give it a try before I strip it.

**Quest AN6 Triple Butted alu carbon frame - 55cm -** £200**
This in excellent condition and has barely been ridden. I'm not that up on modern road frames, but this is clearly well made. Welds all smooth and filled, removable hanger. Carbon is perfect. Very light as you'd expect. Its got a very slight sloping TT and the angles are good.

Same as this one from fat birds don't fly for £600. So I reckon £200 is a steal.

Seat Tube = 50cm (c-t-c) 56cm (c-t-t)
Top Tube (actual) = 54cm (c-t-c)
Top Tube (virtual) = 55cm (c-t-c)

Sorry - seller error.

Chainset is in pretty good condition - not much use by me and hardly any by the previous owner. Some small surface scratches on the arms which will polish out - and they polish up well. The rings have a very slight ano-brass finish some of which has been worn over the teeth. The bolts are the orginal Nervar Star.

The rings have plenty of life in them.
