However, "the clothes themselves are very loose (rather like Roman togas). The extra heat caused by the black colour causes increased upward convection of the air between the cloth and their body. This additional air circulation actually aids in evaporation of persiration and thus results in better cooling" - so probably doesn't apply for lycra...

Really? hmmm.
They may have a change kit, with the blue more dominant, anyway they have the yellow skyride bibs to wear on the tour .
They'll have to change the colour of the bibs, probably to pink so they can be like Team ONCE.

Yeah, those lobster style gloves look warm, though one of the riders said to me they were rubbish on the ride.

Meeeee! And yes no knee warmers, was rather cold. Got laughed at by Serge Pauwels and subsequently the rest of the team riding with us when he asked if I was cold and I replied "my hands are freezing". Oh the shame.
