I don't buy the innocent victim thing, sorry, to believe that after two years of trying to peddle such junk that these are anything other than old, painted crap is either incredibly stupid or naive to the point of gullible. The nice guy bit works well on a forum, if it's sincere then it's commendable but immaterial to the fact that most of these builds are mis-described, monstrous and likely dangerous. Constant referral to a "warranty" (which despite possible good intentions is borderline impossible to honor, given the very second hand nature of the bikes and parts) does nothing to change any of this.
Kiwi cycles used to do up old bikes and turn them into fixed and singlespeed, now whatever happened to that guy, he made some usable and safe bikes, with recognised parts and frames designed to be used together.
The answer is not to post syrupy apologies and justifications and blame shifting suggestions, but to simply build a better bike.
