Back in Devon at the age of 10 or so we used to play a game called charge... you fiddled with your mates bikes and then got back on your own "modified" bike before riding towards the middle of a playing field (or similar) to collide with each other.
The last to bottle it won, you also had to get good at stopping without handlebars, brakes, pedals, etc, as they were likely to fall off mid-ride.
Good for bike maintenance too, I recommend the sport to anyone.
