  • Especially for you Mechanical Vandal! Then again, you ll probably slag off my drink anyway...

I'm glad you posted in response to all this.
You seem like a sensible, well balanced guy and i honestly do wish you all the best.
At first i reckoned you must be as bad as the Macpherson fuckwits/Fixei/Hacked/whoever was making all the fake accounts etc but i actually reckon your probably a bit of a victim in this and for that i feel sorry for you.

I will however stand by what i have said about your restored bikes:

    1. They are built up with cheap, low quality, probably unreliable parts and are being sold at a ridiculous price for which anyone - not just people with time to spend scouring ebay and online retailers etc - could get a decent, tested, certified brand new OTP.
    2. They are ugly, they resemble the kind of thing i chucked togother with bits from my spare parts box back in the days when i hadn't even heard the word fixie.
    3. I don't see the idea of restoring bikes in this way making you money.

You seem pretty determined to make a living out of the cycle industry and i really hope you can and do.
The OTP frame on your website looks like a good product and if you have gotten a good enough price on them then i'm sure they will work well for you.

You say that you want to learn and grow from the feedback you get from your customers but i hope that you are also able learn from what has happened here and on the Glasgow forum and consider how you market your business and who you associate yourself with and appreciate that you maybe are a bit naive about certain things.
