    Make an offer then...
    I think I bought it in 2004.

  • this is a bit overpriced

Well I checked on eBay what they selling at 250/3250 so if I don't sell it on here it will go on the bay.

  • Are they really that good?

  • Ive got one of the newer ones

    Yes.

    Are they really that good?

  • what software does it have?

  • what software does it have?

Tiger MAC OS X, iDVD,iPhoto and few more that i cant remember......

  • But it's an IBM PowerPc CPU, therefore obsolete, any software upgrade is unavailable.

That was my point behind asking if it was truly worth it.

I can see the value in it as a 17" monitor that can also be used to do (fairly advanced) things.

But I can do all that with new hardware that costs roughly the same but has a warrentee.

Don't get me wrong, I'd like a Mac to have a play with it, but it seems crazy to spend the price of a decent crankset on an obsolete one.

  • I used to buy these for ~£250 about 4 years ago, seems pricey.

The 1.25ghz 20" Dome iMac is collectable now though (if in awesome nick). This, not so much.

  • I just had a look at completed listings on ebay, saw one that had gone for £130, another for £155, the latter with 2 gigs of RAM. Is this the same ebay that you've been looking at, or some other ebay?

  • £100 honest offer.
