Re-dishing a wheel?

Got some wheels and a frame lying around, and am thinking of having the rear re-dished and throwing on a free-whell and selling it as a cheap SS, has anyone had a bike shop re-dish a whee? Or even better, could anyone do it? Its a pretty crappy wheel, was just thinking i could have a bit of clearout this way.

just tighten the left hand spokes and loosen the right hand ones. bobs ya uncle.

i had a shop do it a while back, they had some mega tule that could grip the nipples that i rounded.
