Velodrome polo & jumble Sunday 24th January 2010

Thought we needed a thread for this, so on Sunday 24th January we are doing a polo demo at the velodrome, this is also the day of the bike jumble.

i believe we also need to do something about making walls to play in but i guess they are not essential if its just a demo
is all this correct Nes?

does this mean we get to go in early and 'set up'' ?

No i have heard no one not even people with stalls get to buy early (although you know they still will) fyi for a heads up i sold loads of bike stuff and have about £200 for a HED/corima/aerospoke so help me out when we go :D

we can go in to have a look but no buying. yes we have to build some walls.i thought a kind of L, as in a bit of wood with a drop/fold down bracket, would sufice.

4. Nikolaj - in the middle of my exams so how long I can be there for depends how much work I've done.
   

what are we gonna do about the walls, should we wait untill the snow has gone to see if we will be doing it at all?

im sure josh will join you guys. hopefully some of the leeds crew will get down including me if i get my coursework done!

and the crazy weather its probably best to leave it for this event but I'm
hoping to hold one again in summer which would be great if you're still

Who's still going to the jumble then?

I am still going, on the look out for wheelset, poss a whole bike but doubt it

I'm after a rear wheel but money's a bit tight at the mo so might stay well away, the money I do have always burns massive holes in my pockets

what sort of wheel? Got a 29er rear if you need.

Yeah, me too, but i need to get a messenger bag and some skinny jeans first; otherwise i'd just look silly.
