I fucked up and placed a bid that I didn't quite think through on eBay.
Turns out that grossly underestimated the cost of shipping to the DK. (and probably also misjudged my required frame size for mtbs, but that's another story)
So... the item in question is a Kona Hahanna frame w/ suspension forks, stem, bars grips and brakes. I won it at the ridiculous sum of 28 squid, and UK shipping will be a measly 12 squid.
I was going to convert it to singlespeed, which I think it would be perfect for; legendary Kona geometry and all.
All in all 40 pounds for a great retro mtb frameset + parts.
Kona Hahanna Retro MTB Frame and parts
Kona Butted Cromoloy frame.
16” Bottom bracket to centre of top tube.
Team 280 Series RST suspension forks 1 1/8" threaded steerer.
Tektro V-Brakes and Levers
Shimano Acera X front Mech.
Steel quill stem and steel riser handlebars
Gripshift SRAM MRX 200-70 for the rear changer.
Shimano Revoshift for the front changer
Frame is used and can be used as spares or rebuilt. All that is needed for a complete bike is a bottom bracket, chainset, pedals a rear mech and pair of wheels with tyres and a cassette.
Looks like one of the bottle bosses on the seat tube has been dunted, deforming the shape of the tube slightly.
