the shimano un54 doesn't give the right chainline with these. the shimano bb has jis taper but the cranks need a 107mm with iso taper, this means that the chainline will be out by around 4-5mm. i know because i made this mistake too

Really? i'l take your word for it, but my friend fitted the un54 107 today and the chainline looked bang on.

well have just read that the shimano is jis, but then i also saw how the un54 and miche cranks on my friends bike gave what looked like a perfect chainline...
