  • Cheers. We heart you too Nes. Glowbike YHM.

  • YHM = You're Hot Man?

  • YHM = You're Hot Man?

    Yup thats exactly it....

  • thought so, i've got a knack for that kinda thing

  • anyone got a spare mobile phone? Got a new sim-card but it won't work in my old phone as it says it's locked. 'tis well cack

  • just get your phone unlocked, bout £5 or sumin, or if its one of the newer ones you can do it yourself on your computer

  • I think this is the last of the stuff I'm getting rid of. Pile of good bits for polo?

Brand spanking new forks, one slight chip on the paint on the inside of the right leg, but otherwise perfect. Been fitted, ridden down the street then taken off again. Was going to fit 'em to my roadrat for the sake of the Rack-bosses but got the wrong length - 30mm longer than my current forks and makes the bike a handle too slow for my tastes.

    700c
    430mm Axle to Crown length
    45mm Rake
    Uncut 225mm steerer(1 1/8)
    £18

    for the MTB people
    Mavic X618 rim
    Destickered 26" 32H
Brake-surface unused (always been ran with discs)
    £10

Shimano Deore Hub. Non-Disc so I have no use for it.
Little sticky just needs a clean out and regrease
    £a pint

Nameless shimano Canti's with brand new pads
    £12

  • Got some things for sale to make monies for new things! Pics will come soon.

Nintendo DS Lite, comes with charger, power pack, DSTT card and more - £45

    Andel 1/8" 16t track sprocket (new) - £8
    Unbranded XD2 cranks (new) - £20

    48t 130bcd chainring (new) - £8

56cm road frameset, Prugnat Type 62BIS lugs, unknown tubing. - £25

58cm Holdsworth la quelda 531 frameset (forks not original) - £40

    56cm Carlton / raleigh 1979 grand prix frameset - £25

    Match1 Omega track wheelset. - £50

  • got photo's of the two 56cm framesets? especially interested in the nervex lugs 'yin.

  • Pics of the holdsworth please and dibs (maybe)

  • Pics of the framesets! i desperatly need a new bike
i juat cant work out what size i should be, i was 56 at the velodrome but then i think i normally ride a 58? anyway, provisional second dibs on 58? and maybe the wheels!
what condition are the wheels in?

  • Updated with some pics. The frames are all 56cm C-C, The holdworths is a lil bit taller to fit a clamp space, but c-c is the same. Im sorry, there not nervex, found there probably Prugnat 62 BIS. the carlton has no dints and paintork is fair. holdsworth has shallow dint on top tupe and chainstay and no paint. the other has 2 small shallow dints on TT. (ill get pics). wheels are in ish condition, used for polo so some spokes are a bit bent, rims are fine.

  • Got pics of the wheels? I'll probbably take them

  • Trying to get an idea of fit, what's the toptube length on the Holdsworth and the headtube length?

If Mirek doesn't want it - despite not needing any more bike bits - I'll probably take it. Got a lot of love for fillet-brazed frames.

  • provisional second dibs on 58? and maybe the wheels!

Beat you to it Colin, although i guess it depends how big it is in the flesh

  • Scott, does the holdsworth have a mech hanger?

  • Selling this on behalf of a mate. Many of you know Clodge as Manchester's second fastest messenger, if you don't i can vouch for him. He needs the money to build a lighter bike so he can beat me at the next "hell of the north west" alleycat.

He's looking for £300 for the lot! That's a good deal in my book, it's a complete track bike minus the wheels. If you're interested pm me and i'll give you his number.

He has this up for sale on another forum so here is a copy from the orginal ad:

"52cm Dolan FXE fixed bike minus wheels!!! comes with carbon fork, Sugino Messenger chainset (42), Deda carbon stem, ITM carbon bars, Tektro brake levers and calipers, carbon seatpost and Boardman saddle (Fizik Arione copy). The frame, fork and headset are brand spanking new, the chainset and other components have been used a handful of times."

Bens the fastest so are you third Andy?

  • No mech hanger, its a 1948 one. Ill have pics of ze wheels in a few days. will measure and get better pics of both frames soon aswell.

ermmmm... what about crazy dave and tall paul and zero (when he's on his GT soaring up the cat and fiddle)

  • I heard woodys pretty fast, but obviously he's normally too busy with the fixed downhill and velodrome to be pissing about on the streets.

  • guess your 6th then Andy :D

  • are we just counting current couriers?
reckon i could whoop his ass
    (+ let's not forget conrad + luke + cattermole + nasty + mikey)
