When i need to divide, I guess a number and thn multiply it by some other number that sounds reasonable and see how close i get to the original number, and then go "a bit less" or "a bit more".
Kinda works.
Seriously though, its a bit fucking archaic and pointless isn't it? A bit like an abacus or a book.
