  • ^That answers my next questions.

    Are you running drops?
Will you have brake hoods on these?

If you have copied the basic geometry for a bike designed with flat/riser bars in mind, but will be running drops and hoods, you may find your top tube is too long.

Do you know your ideal stem length, or have you just 'dialled in' stem length to your bike in the past?

    It all has an effect.

Ideally it would be to change between drops and risers(?), but no, I did not just copied the geometry of the DAMP bike, and sticked on some stem.
My ideal stem length is 90mm (58cm TT), same as pictured; what I did so far, and I repeat that this spec is not to be followed to every inch, it is a guide for what i need/want asked by the builder.
I will have to do everything by phone/email so bikeCAD is one hell of a tool to work out visually what your ideas are, (even if you have no fcking idea : ), it's really user friendly).
I do know these are deep waters i'm trying to swim in, but I really want to learn about my shit, even if it has to be the hard way (...and obvs. with help from Forumengers wisdom), and the builders will have the final word on every bit.
The numbers used here were taken from, what I understand to be, my perfect frame size.
My torso is really long for my height, longer than my legs.. so a long TT is required.
