I did a evening taster welding course at walthamstow college, found a proper C&G evening course some where in NW London after that but didn't do it as I was only doing it for fun / a backup, wish I had now but it was too far away.
Anyway the point of this post that the lecturer also did work like custom stair cases and furniture, he got very good money for that so many options high end welders. Gas pipe welding too, boring less creative but very well paid, I think £100k ball park. Fuck I wish I tried to do that course!
