removing logos form halo rims
I got excited, i thought if i scratched the logo from something some new rims would materialize.
You owe me a new tub of vaseline Mr. weazlepopper.

yeah i want to keep the base colour on but take the logo off if possible or i'll just sticker over it

Use the right colour.

I think they are lazer etched (or possibly just painted on). They certainly don't come off easily so I may go with the permanent marker pen suggestion myself. I suppose if done properly it will just look like a subtle black logo?

try a bit of polishing paste?
if it is painted on, it should come off with a bit of effort using t-cut or another compund, and a rag... worth a try

All that does it make it cleaner. Not sure how the logos are applied but they are on there for good. Luckily there are fairly subtle so I will just live with them or try the permanent marker idea

Think I'm going to go with a cover up. I'll get a decent magic marker and if that doesn't work i'll cover them in stickers...

similar question, the logos on my easton ea30 seatpost are rubbing off thru wear and tear, they aren't stickers. would a bit of wire wool take them all off?

Don't use wire wool. They should polish off or use very fine wet and dry paper.

I use wire wool to remove logos from my handlebars and it works fine (have removed Easton logos too)
The risk is that is can make the area slightly shinier than the rest of the bar.
HI,
Anyone had any experience of removing the logos form halo aerotrack rims? Seems to be painted on...
