I'm training to build wooden boats at the moment. Something worth looking at if you're interested in joinery, because the woodwork involved in boatbuilding is to the highest standards, and some of the most technical because of the curves etc. It means you can do anything with wood once you've mastered this (it takes 7 years from start to finish though).
