The Great British Weather

I've got the news on. They're talking about the weather again. Top of the bill, main item, kids on sledges, people building snowmen, slippy pavements, travel chaos, blah blah....

We've had this weather since before christmas and the news is like groundhog day. So, does nothing actually happen in the world when it's cold? I am geting seriously fucking bored with this shit. If I hear one more Daily Mail reader talking about one bit of snow bringing the country to a standstill I will begin a dirty protest.

I love the weather but I'm sick of the news reporting too, it's not technical about it just bull shit. I'm sure there are more pressing problems happening in the world, how about informing people about them? Also the exaggeration is ridiculous, "arctic conditions", "Siberian conditions" and the worst "blitz spirit".
